Pre 1860's/Quaker Bonnet & Day/Prayer Cap At a recent show, I had a woman come to me and ask "can you make a Quaker bonnet?"  It was not only an honor but a joy to approach something different.  My customer provided information and original bonnets that her ancestors wore.  I made two bonnets and day/prayer caps for her.  I spent time searching for information on Quaker clothing, and had a wonderful time visiting an exhibit of Quaker clothing and bonnets (there's nothing like seeing originals).
